The 150-room, 30-story hotel lies on the edge of Chelsea, in the area known as the Flower District. The hotel enjoys a corner design advantage, allowing guests visibility of up and down Sixth Avenue - including views of One World Trade and the Empire State Building. The Hyatt House New York/Chelsea aims for a more residential design in its facade and interior layouts. Its studio and one-bedroom units have functional, apartment style layouts ranging from 270 to 510 square feet. The layout was designed with families and large groups in mind, as evidenced by the 60 interconnecting rooms.
